    Hi I'm very new to model ship building. Start 1 model, Americas cup j class. Buts struggled with what glue to use for planking decks and hulls. What's the best glue to use that's easily available in the UK. I've used pva and super glue.. not the best I wouldn't have thought.😬 struggled with the curves with the pva. Any advice welcome Thanks Lee

    Hi.. I'm still very new to ship building. Dont get loads of time with kids and work. But trying to give my self some time to relax and build. I've been visiting this site quite often and reading some of the build logs. Found it very interesting and way out of my league the quality that yous finish your ships at. I've start the rainbow j class. And got giving a build the black pearl off my dad. Which was more than enough to keep me going. The black pearl I have found very demanding as it was a large ship to start with. The rainbow j class has been abit more of a easier build but instructions aren't great. I have just been giving 4 more ships off my dad that he has started and unfortunately wont ever get to finish them. So am hoping for lots of advice and tips as I want to do them to the best finish i can for him.. They are all partworks ships.. ( he couldn't help himself haha) Hms hood. U 96 submarine Endeavour Sovereign of the seas. Cheers
