Roofs in the kit is to small and crooked, so I had to enlarge and straighten them I use balsa wood. I went to a picture frame workshop and got some waste for free. The picture frames are made of balsa wood

Hello. I think you can paint the entire hull with diluted water glue. In this case, the hull will be uniform in color.

Hi I am a new ship modeler from Lithuania. There is a second model of my ship (the first was Corel Company VASA). In my country are many people (about 2 million), so there are many people who make ship models, there are many company's which sells ship model kits. The most serious company in Lithuania is COREL. So I doing this company ship models. Now I'm doing COREL - WAPPEN VON HANBURG. This is Corel company's most expensive and sophisticated set of ships. I want to say that COREL kits are complex. But I like this company because the quality of the materials is good. I think it will be difficult to make this ship model because the first deck cannons have to be installed before the taller decks can be made and the sides of the ship glued. Swiss. Therefore, ground-floor cannons may be broken.

Hello. I'll share with you some photos of my first ship model. This is a VASA ship model from COREL. As for the ship model kit, I can say that it is a difficult ship to build. The materials in the kit are of good quality. The body details are not laser cut but are hand-cut, so some parts are crooked and need to be repaired. The drawings are difficult to understand. I would recommend this firm's kits to experienced modelers. Not much is shown in the drawings.

Thanks for the friendly consent. In Lithuania, I tried to write a letter to a forum for ship modelers, but no one wrote about the production of wooden models. Just few peoples makes models from plastic, few peoples makes from paper. Yes, this is my first ship model. Only wooden ship kits from COREL are available in my country. It is a small country and there is very little demand for such goods. I bought a sophisticated ship kit from VASA to have a strong desire to finish it and learn a lot. I made the model in my spare time, so it took 18 months. I'll create a VASA model photo section on this page so you can see what the COREL VASA model looks like. Of course, this is not an exact replica of the actual ship, but I liked the combination of blue and gold on the ship paint. Now I make COREL's most sophisticated ship model, WAPPEN VON HAMBURG I. I like ship models that are complex and require a lot of care.
