    I started to build this ship in 1975. But after a short time i´m boring so i went to build a little easier ship The Golden Star and a middle cut from the HMS Victory now after a long long Time i put my beginning again to the shipyard and hope i can finish it with your help.

    Sad that you stop the Victory. Think I have to do my own build blog. But I can understand you I haved stop the build since 1975 more and more times and now I hope to beginn again with the Victory because I was in Portsmouth last Year and see that wonderfull ship in 1:1 scale. Hope you put it not so far away from the Table. Dieter

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
