  2. Providence Whaleboat, 1/25, Artesania Latina

Very simplistic kit with many issues. Still a beautiful subject.  Should have gone for Model Shipways or Amati.

  3. Four-oared yawl of XIX century, 1/24, Falkonet

Excellent kit from Russian manufacturer Falkonet , extremely detailed and very well engineered. Built completely out of the box.

  4. St. Gabriel, 1/72, Master Korabel

My first 'big' ship project, and second wooden kit. Completed in 2019, I learned a lot from building it.

Great kit by Master Korabel , everything is laser-cut, even the hull planks, making it perfect for beginners.

Built out of the box, except for all the threads - those in the kit were terrible, and the launch on the deck.

The launch is a separate mini-kit, again from Master Korabel.

  5. Lady Nelson, 1/64, Amati

    Lovely kit from Amati/Victory Models.
Some parts were scratch-built: flue, tiller, anchor stock.
There was only one problem with the kit - bowsprit heel (or whatever the part that holds the end of the bowsprit is called) clearly had wrong dimensions, so had to modify it.
