I looked into the vanguard models. They look amazing! But unfortunately way over my budget. Perhaps I stick to cardboardmodels, but nexttime a little bigger than this:

I was not aware of this. I thought because there were no plans included and I don't know of any manufacturer selling a halcon kit, it is not piratery. But then, perhaps I was too naive. Stealing other peoples work is really bad.

Hi, My name is Anja and I started recently with modelshipbuilding. I do have experience with woodworking and architecture models, but a wooden ship is something else. I got a simple kit from China the "Halcon" scale 1:100. There are no real Plans, in fact just some laser cut boards. So I begun researching topsail schooners and found this forum and learned already a lot. This is the model so far, made already some mistakes, corrected some, have to live with the rest and have a lot of fun.
