  1. As you can see I am in the process of getting the hull to the painting stage fortunately my modelling skills have developed over 30 years so whilst it may take sometime expect to get there I am willing to accept any advice except start again

I started this about 30 years ago and I have completed about 75 % of the hull and I have restated to try to complete I will post pictures but this is my first try so they may not be as good as some might expect I have a lot of questions the the first of which is:- panart provide brass edging for the gun ports do the expect the lids to be sized to fit inside or are the lids meant to cover the brass edging and thus never can be closed flush with the hull
  3. What is the correct colours for gun port lids :- red inside black outside or yellow outside are the hinges black or yellow thanks
  4. I am putting the canons together on my 1/78 victory but I have no bolts to hold down the the caps over the canon barrels bras rod that supports them any suggestions please

I am essentially a 0guage raiway modeller but about 30 years ago I purchased a 1/78 scale plank on frame model victory after a while I found it so difficult that I let it rest until just lately and just now gone back to it live in east Grinstead Sussex and I model lots of raiway items and other sorts of models I welcome advice / visits and pictures of other models I

If you use mastic glues like no nails or any of the fast grab adhesives I use an eco stick equivalent you can spread it very thin and then just place the tiles in place the grab effect will hold the very light weight tiles in place do small areas (3 sq ins) at a time also in my first post my typing got all screwed up I was just referring to industrial Grab adhesives mostly thick white mix sorry for the confusion
