    Hello, I am a new wood model builder. I am building the USS Constitution Wooden model. It is 1:74 scale model. I have built the USS Constitution in the Revel Plastic Model several times. This is a whole different animal here. I am not a wood worker and this is a struggle. This forum has helped me a lot. However, I am at the stage of building the bow and stern blocks. I cannot figure for the life of me how to do this. Which is what brings me here today. Is there anyone out there who could build these blocks for me? I would pay you to do this. This is beyond my skill set. I am pleading for help. Lee Jr

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
