  1. Dave, Inspired by photos of your jig, here is my version of a serving jig, which I made up yesterday from old brass gears I found in the bits box. The frame is timber scraps on an old model baseboard. Bearings are brass tube ferrules drifted into interference fit holes. I've chosen to follow your idea of making the driving shafts hollow. The small alligator clips were caniballised from a "helping hands". Thanks for the idea Dave. Cheers Jim
  2. Hi Gil, I'd like to add my thanks for uploading the build log. It'll be a constant source of reference and awe as I strive to complete my Victory. Best regards Jim
  3. Gil, Just like to add my appreciation that you will be taking the time to reinstate your build log. It's been such a great source of guidance and, when things go wrong, of inspiration. Cheers Jim
  4. Hi Romiol, Thank you for re-posting some of your lost photos. Much appreciated, as I am halfway through building and shipping my cannons and it's good to have your pics to hand. I look forward to continuing to follow your build log. Well done you for taking the time to add details of progress so far. Cheers Jim
