Hi
Really nice Modell you built here! Congrats!Got a question for you...
I'm just in the final stage of finishing my amati endeavour build but sadly a drop of CA glue dropped on the final painted hull... now i can see you are using a lot of CA debonder. Do you think i can use that on my painted and varnished hull to remove the shiny glue?Is your hull shiny or dull? If dull, then a coat of flat clear will hide the shiny glue, but not the bump. Perhaps some careful sanding will help. I would worry about debonder, try it on a prepared piece of scrap first.

Painted the caprails, added the masts. Fore and main were in halves, so I stiffened them with brass rod. Still pretty bendy.

Busy holiday season, but I managed to put in bulkheads and ladders.

That's a really good start.

you will notice that by splitting the false deck and having each side butt against the keel, you are assured of a straight hull.

So now I have added the two rear decks.

Next is to add the lower deadeyes, then I can put the afterdeck in place.

With overlapped plates, there's not much to protect the edges. Be careful handling the hull, and when the model is finished and in a case, then no-one will be able to touch or brush against it.
butt joining the plates reduces, but does not eliminate the problem.

All the standing rigging is almost finished (just the last shroud on the mizzen to go)
