A bit more weathering on mossie, the aerial broke away (I hit it with my brush)🙄 so I glued it back down by making a puddle of ca, aerial not looking too good - but it is what it is, so I'm calling the airframe finished - just waiting to fit the bombs when thay are done.
Got a few pics for you ........

It has been, Joe. The stuff I read about today on my AF news-feeds was all a pipe dream for us in the 80s. I got shunted into KC-135s in '91 and missed out on all the new stuff in the pipeline. I was a squadron/wing weapons officer for a long time. It was my favorite job. I've been looking at doing an F-15E aka Mudhen. The weapons carried nowadays vaguely resemble the gear we used in Desert Storm.
That will be awsome Ken - love Strikey's.

More words - no pictures (I know - boring) so after letting the 500 pounders dry - the one way up, I worked out a stratergy - sit them nose down (painted ends) in blue tak on a block of wood then just spray the tails.
Just had enough pain to do the job.

I agree with Lou, I tried building a Destroyer in 1/700 scale but lacked high mag viewing and good light - so I really struggled also used hand painting in too think layers - you are doing a Fab job.

In person,
The decals look brand new.
Sure hope that helps.
If I remember from when I was a kid, decals can be pretty finicky.

Have you got setting solutions like Micro Set and Sol? they do help massivly.

Those decals look in good order despite thier age - no fading and good colour from what I can see.

Hey, they work. I use them like that all the time.
Plan is - when dry hold them from the other end (protected with some tape) then spray the un-painted ends.

Thanks for the kind words OC. I was able to learn a lot from the build logs from you and others on here, so thank you! I still have a ways to go to get better. My problem is that I'm mostly a lap modeler, which gets hard when you are dealing with such small models. One thing I need to learn to do is to be a lot more careful when handling or otherwise near my models - I can't tell you how many times I've broken off, bent, or otherwise had to rework a part. I probably busted the rigging on my Badger build no less than two dozen times with errant elbows, etc.
Part of the modeling world I think we have all gone down - "Sods Law" loves to play us a visit"

Basic rule of thumb and applies to model building: "If at first you don't succeed, try again. If you still don't succeed, dig the instructions out of the trash can and start over".
If you find you glued the wings on back to front - just turn the plane around.
