    I am building a scratch model of HMS Bounty 1/60 and am ready to start mounting the fore yard. All the blocks are in place but now I need to rig the jeers to the yard. How can i hold it in place while I run the line through the jeers, seem a very fiddly thing to do. Any ideas? Malc

    On my scratch model of Bounty I will not be fitting sails, so what happens to the blocks and lines that would go from the yards to the clews,bunt lines ect?

    Thank guys, very helpful,Norman's idea is very tempting, but I promised myself that absolutely nothing would be purchased in finished or kit form...so masochist that I am, have to scratch build them. Malc

    I am working on a scratch built model of HMS Bounty at a scale of 60;1 this makes the ratlines less that .1mm what thread should I use as this seems very thin. Malc
