So this is my first time wanting to build a boat of any size, my main goal is to build a Carrack type ship like in the anime One Piece (there main ship Thousand Sunnys) but talking with some other people that have said that I’ve basically chosen one of the hardest ships to do for a first timer. So if there are anybody out there that can point me in the direction of a simple but fun to do ship that will be great, something that can help me level up (as it were) to get to the level of a Carrack type ship. thanks in advance 😁
Hi All, I’m just starting out and jumped in by ordering an entry level kit from Bluejacket. I ordered the Red Baron, a lobster boat and I’m waiting for it to arrive. I love fishing boats and work boats. I don’t know anything about building models. The only experience that I a have is building Plastic car and airplane Models as a kid, many, many years ago. I’m looking forward to learning here and hopefully being able to contribute, as well. Cheers! Paul
Hello! My name is David and I reside in upstate NY and have recently decided I needed a new hobby. I built plastic models as a teenager and young adult but ceased to do so since getting a career and owning a home. Now however, I am looking for a stress relief that is both satisfying and challenging. I have finished a grand banks dory by blue jacket and I am currently working on the Revenue Cutter. I have already purchased 5 other boat kits...so I am hoping I don't give up too fast.
