pete48 Posted June 12, 2015 Author Share #63 Posted June 12, 2015 Thanks David B. , I am pleased with how the Cockpit and color combos turned out , The Teak on the benches really set her off nicely, along with the other wood colors, it would be nice to say that I planned it that way , the reality is that it just kind of fell into place. As far as a instruction book, I did not make one I generally build from a lines drawing ( obtained from the offset table ) and a construction and sail plan. as a reference I use Chapelle's book on Boat building and the Gougeon Brothers book on Boat construction. I would like to thank everyone for the amazing comments and all the likes, I greatly appreciate it . This will be the last new posting for this build log, I will respond to comments and questions . So with the committee Boat behind me, here is what was done. Yesterday I applied 2 coats of Varnish to the mast , finished making the Main and jib. This morning I started by making the blocks and the main sheet traveler. I then rigged the Mast ( standing rigging) Next I installed the Main sail followed by the jib , ran all the halyards and sheets . In conclusion this Boat has been a pleasure to build and she went off without a hitch .
