Hi,

 

some new pictures... :)

I have constructed the chain plates channels, mounted the capstan, including ropes, created the chimney using Sculpey...

Wonderful work as it has always been. I have just finished my deck planking. I only ever use the supplied plans for a quick reference, as the standard of all the caroline builds and logs are outstanding. Keep enjoying your build and post lots of photos for me to refer to. I think I will buy some of this Sculpey stuff and give it a whirl. Best regards DAVID

Ahoy

 

I will have to try the Sculpey myself.

Here's what I was able to do for the stern moldings today. Tonight I will make the niche in the center of the windows and start on the windows. The moldings were made out of boxwood and evergreen strip material.

 

And a photo of my shipyard supervisor, Sweet Pickels ,he loves just watching the work and the heat from the lamp.
