I have managed to put all those spindle/balusters/balustindles to good use! :D  A little error in my planning led to less work - only 80 spindles were needed.

I've made and installed more of the decorations as well.

Outstanding work Sherry.....
That made me laugh. With my strange sense of humour, I'm sitting here picturing my little balcony attached to your house! Maybe the butterflies could use it?  :P
Thanks for the compliment!

Michael: Thank-you! Can't deny it, I definitely have a love for wood working. Something tells me that a few other people here are the same.  ;)

Hey Sjors!

I agree Sherry is doing an amazing job but I'm worried about your offer of having her do your balcony! You realize it would be to a scale of 1:90 it would be really small! Too small for you to sit down and enjoy! LOL

Carry on with 1;90 Sherry!

Doris: Thank-you for your generous comment, it is greatly appreciated! I have to tell you though, it is your work and artistry that is an inspiration to the rest of us!

Steve: Thank-you! It was actually Sjors that left that comment and I forgot to include his name in the qoute.

Sherry and Steve.......

You are making fun of me  :P

@ Sherry,

I mean that I want such balcony at my house in human standarts !

I want to relax with a beer and the model in front of me ( when it will be sunny and nice warm weather ) .

@ Steve,

I ask for a contract from Sherry but she can only make this at scale 1:96....

I think that's a little to small.

But Sherry, it is still an amazing job what you are doing !

I thought I would just call in and say how fabulous your S Felipe is looking  Even working to a smaller scale, your ornaments have a far greater crispness than the castings supplied in the kit(unless you spend hours and hours with a file :D ).Truly wonderful work Sherry B)

Kind Regards Nigel

Hi Sherry,

Can you tell us what paint brand and color you used for that wonderful blue, and how you applied it? I apologize if I missed this somewhere earlier in your log.

Sjors: Okay, we won't tease you anymore.  :)

Nigel: Thank-you! Working at this scale has been a challenge at times.

Mark: I used Winsor & Newton artist acrylics, but I mixed my own shade of blue and stored it in a jar in case I need more later. Unfortunately I don't usually record the formula, I just keep mixing until I see a shade I like.

Matti: Thank-you....now, if I can only get my cannons to look like yours! :)

Bindy: Welcome to my build log, and Thank-you for more "wows". The next update will probably be a little on the dull side...gun port liners....92 of them!

Patrick: Thank-you! You're not too late - the party's not over until my ship is finished! (which, when I look ahead at all that still has to be done, may be a very long time!) :D
