Wood screws instead of nails?

Recommended Posts

Today I thought I'd get much more accuracy when fixing on my bulwarks if I could find some minuscule brass wood screws instead of relying on Artemesia Latina's 'brass' (actually brass-coated steel) planking nails.
I found a wonderful supplier.  Screwsline.co.uk.   I could have had a selection of 50 x 8 different screw sizes, four each '0' gauge and '1' gauge, ranging from ¼-inch to ½-inch long, for well under ten quid.  But when I phoned them I was told they're ceasing business and couldn't supply me!

I still reckon screws would be more accurate (and possibly more durable) than nails.

Does anyone know of a still-in-business supplier?
