occre r/c ulises

Taking a break from shrouds. Have been looking at Occres R/C tug ulises for next build.

Will make as a static build, maybe r/c.

They state it has a fiberglass hull. Taking in the translation problems on foreign suppliers can someone advise if it is a thin cheap plastic or fiberglass.

Thanks John

Depends on what didn't come with the kit. Do you have the drive shafts commonly known as stuffing boxs or tubes, rudders, motor(s) electronic speed controller, servo and battery. You can easily add any where from $150.00-$200.00 to the cost of the build. You will also need to make that decision quite quickly because you will need to seal the interior of the hull while you can gain access, you will also have to fiberglass cloth and resin the hull to water proof it.

To me, I would build it as R/C operation even if you don't install running gear, just in case someone else wants to make it operational.
