G'day Patrick

Bloody beautiful job. It's hard to spot the difference between the real ship and your model.

I love the back light shot as well.

Keep up the great work and of course the logs.

Hi Greg

Many thanks and it's great to hear from you.  I was wondering how you've been over the past few weeks.  I hope all's well at your neck of the woods!

Have a great week.

You have done a brilliant job and the two boats look identical, somehow though your boat looks way more of a fun place to be.

Loved your sunbeds!

Thanks Vaddoc!!!!  If only I was tiny enough to luxuriate on the sunbed...I'd be a happy Chappy....

Have a great week.

Hi folks

I hope you're all going well.  Meanwhile, back on Shadow's Sun Deck, I've added a bit more stuff, principally the bar that sits just aft of the spa, as well as some assorted cabinetry for the guests.  At the aft of the deck, I've added a tiny round gold coloured table, adorned by two chairs for guests to sip cocktails as Shadow sails off into the sunset.

Hi Paul

Many thanks!  Yep, you're right about the crew.  The only trouble is that I've never made figures as tiny as they would need to be for this ship...but alas, nothing ventured, nothing gained. It'll be well worthwhile giving it a go!

Have a nice night.

Cheers

Hello Patrick

Just catching up on your Super Shadow, have been caught up in my own little corner for too long now [The Old Shipyard ], I do try to not let this kind of thing happen but it does keep on recurring. I am truly amazed at your great progress on your tiny ship, and I thought that the Golden Hinde was small and a bit difficult to work on. Just love all of that very fine detail that you seem to add so very easily and make it all fit in just like it was always there and belonged there,                                                                      ENJOY.

Regards   Lawrence

Hi Lawrence

Thanks for your compliments, especially about the level of detail that I've packed into Shadow.  You know, I reckon that no matter what size we build our models, it'll all work out as long as we love what we're doing. The same goes for your Golden Hinde.

Well, that's my theory anyway.

Thanks heaps and have a great week.

Cheers

Patrick

Great progress, Patrick.  I love the level of detail you're able to include.  I think a scale bottle of Dom P and some champagne glasses would really set off the bar area.

Great detail Lawrence and I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the crew with the steward holding a serving platter with the Dom P

HI everyone

Well...life's just been getting in the way lately and sadly, that's meant that I've fallen way behind in following all my MSW Friend's logs. So, Denis (Popeye), Nils (Mirabella), Cog (Carl), Steamschooner, Mark Taylor, Lawrence, Frank (Mahuna), Piet, Nenad and everyone else that I may have missed mentioning, please accept my apologies.  I will get back on track and start following your logs again, soon!

Anyhow, back onto Shadow's journey, I've continued on with her Upper Deck's accommodation; principally her VIP guest suite, a staircase that leads up to the Sun Deck, and a myriad other tiny details which are too numerous to mention.  I'll let the following photos illustrate Shadow's progress to date.

Have a great week folks and thanks for all of your comments and Likes!  Much appreciated.

Cheers

Patrick

G'day Patrick

Where on earth did you get those huge and over sized fruits and bowl as well as the bottle of water?

The launch looks bloody fantastic mate.

Hi Greg

Shhh!  I've been sworn not to tell anyone where I got those giant fruits from😉

Seriously, though...Thanks for for the compliments and I hope you're keeping well.

Hey Patrick! Your model of Shadow is looking amazing, my friend! I must have missed this particular posting as lately I have missed a lot on here myself, but I am curious as to what you used to make the water in the sun-deck spa?

Hi Brian

Ahhh, good question.  As with anything I do, sometimes it's the simplest solution that works out the best.  To make the water, I lined the interior of the spa with a light blue cardboard and then poured in some superglue to give it a translucent effect.  Not bad, I thought.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Patrick

Amazed as always with your creativity, Patrick.  Shadow is looking great.  I forget how small she is until you show her next to fruit, or your watch, etc.
