Trition Cross-Section 1:48 by Giku22

Recommended Posts

I’ve never built a plank on frame model before so I’m looking forward to giving it a try with this Triton Cross Section.

I currently build battleship Bismarck 1:200 (kit Amati) and St. John the Baptist galleon 1:50 (kit DeAgostini).

I downloaded the Triton keel parts plan and made the keel and false keel.

The wood used is beech.
All with beech frame intend to do.

Excuse my English but with this build, I hope to diversify my vocabulary.

Thanks in advance.

  • 2 weeks later...

Welcome aboard Giku!

Have you thought about using a darker wood for the false keel? Are you going to simulate the caulking between the pieces?

Best wishes and Happy Birthday!!
