They also make some mighty fine kits.

I agree with that and it also seems they are willing to help push the wooden ship kit industry to new levels not shown by many other manufactures. I personally enjoy having them available as a modeling choice.

Yes indeed...they are good people with a great product.   Please take the time to support them and visit their website.  They have also fallen victim to unscrupulous pirates and our fine membership should do all they can to offer their support!!!  😄

My Russian is 50 years old and I've forgotten most of it years ago (studied in high school).

Perhaps some kind and generous soul on this forum can offer some translating help to Master Korabel with their web page so several thousand worldwide ship modelers can read  - in English - what they offer, and how they might acquire their products?

Ron,

Firefox gives you the option of translating the page when you load it. Other browsers probably do something similar. Also look for MK products at eBay. That's where I got mine.

Chrome gives you the translate option.  I'm not sure about IE as I have pretty much stopped using it.

mmdd, I deleted your last post.   If things are unacceptable based on politics then please take them to an appropriate forum elsewhere as MSW is not a place for this.  We are international without regard to race, religion or politics.

I suggest that you re-read the rules:  https://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/guidelines/

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
