So I sat at the table yesterday eve, working out my stratergy with the pearl and a little thought popped into my head, after looking at the actual film rendition of the pearl I thought "how about if I had built her like the film ship" that is - considerably different towards the top with all three masts cut short and also showing different attachments etc, then I thought it would take to much work and might look silly, although it would be scale correct going by the film ship. Keeping my mind active you see. Old Collingwood Posted August 31, 2019 Author Share #1000 Posted August 31, 2019 Doing a bit more tidy up work today on the pearl when I noticed that on the one side the anchor has lost its crown/arm clean off, I looked everywhere but not a sign, so I had to trap the shank in behind the forenast shroud dead eyes, not ideal but dont know how to make a realistic replacement part to match the other one, gues I will have to put it down to battle damage. If others don't want to share then they shouldn't.
