HMS Leopard 1790 by Juergen - 50 gun ship - 1/64 - POB

Recommended Posts

Hello Guys

Much thanks for the nice comments. I'm thinking it will be a great help to spend more time for the model.

I worked a lot last time and don't really have time to look here on MSW or build at the Leopard.

Hi Ferit and John

I'm glad that you like it.

Thanks for the advice John. It's always a great help for me because it's often very hard to find the right english term

This work is really fantastic ... I will follow him carefully, congratulations, you're really very adept at your job.

I wanted to achieve in the future HMS Leopard in scale 1/75 with the help of plans John McKay

Hey Juergen! Hello!!

Sorry about all the "likes" but it was me... nothing wrong with MSW 2.0!

I just went from page one from 4th of may through all the log. Don´t know why I was missing your new log. Anyway the follow button has been clicked so I´ll be here waiting for your updates.

Best wishes and happy modelling!

Daniel.

Very nice progress Juergen,

I've just picked up a very cheap and good copy of Rif Winfield's book and can see you are making a fine job of the Leopard.

what timber are you using on this build?

Much thanks for the nice comment Timmo. And also much thanks for the likes.

I used following timbers:

Stern, keel, stem and so on I used maple

False-keel is swiss-pear (same as at the Triton)

Main-wale is linden wood. I had some ledges from the build of the Irene

Planks, Channel-wale, black-strake is birch
