Lost track a bit do you still have a warped keel bit ??

Its almost impossible to straighten an MDF one  - ply is juuust possible but not worth the effort.

You are owed a replacement   - ask for it from your supplier

Where are you - in the UK and most countries the supplier is responsible NOT the manufacturer

Yes I did not start with the kit yet. I live in the Netherlands but purchased the kit at Cornwall Model Boats. If that is the case like you said then I

will send an email to CMB for a replacement. Thanks for tuning in! :)

Small update...installed the Fore gaff, main gaff and driver boom. There is a lot more to learn regarding rigging...like which knots etc. But that takes time I guess. Nice to discover which line is for what part to move or hold still.

As usual.... Pristine work mugje.

What did you use for colouring the ratlines?

I diluted some black paint, that worked fine. The only difference with the indian ink is...that diluted paint dries somewhat hard up. And with the ink the line keep more flexibel.

Well done indeed 🙂

Dirk

PS: You could rig the ruder too (4 more small blocks to go :-P) 😉

I saw that the Pegasus did have a rigged rudder, but did the Pickle have that also?

Looks wonderful mugje, you should be proud! 😊

Just started rigging my Pickle.

Confused with some parts of the rigging, especially the backside of the fore mast.

Could you be so kind and take some close-up,s and post? 😊

Thank you! I will take some pictures this afternoon👍. Just take everything step by step. By the way...those hanging pendants, that you need to attach at the beginning on the main mast cap...those aren't for anything. They are just hanging there :D . You can even see it on the box with the prototype.

Sure, think about the forces the needs to be handled 🙂

Dirk

Hm...I will think about it, but maybe i'm saving that for the Pegasus :P

But thanks for al your input in this log, it's very inspiring!

There is on the foremast a pendant that is not hanging right haha...I will need to fix that...stubborn piece of rope :P
