Wonderful build, Greg.   What Pat said... when do the tours start so I can save up airfare?

Nice addition to the fleet. If you add too many more from assorted countries you wil be able to stage your very own atom bomb test site. Using ships from all over the world they had the biggest fleet in the world at the time.

I would be in for a tour as well. It would be nice to see all of your works in person rather than through he eye of a camera.

Is the York your next build? I am somewhat more familiar with the Exeter due to her actions in the early days of WWII against both the Germans and the Japanese at the River Plate and Java Sea. I always thought the York class cruisers bore a striking resemblance to the Renown class battle cruisers.

People whom try to be so convincing, usually do the oposite, so tell us RGL how many ... ;)

When will the first one of your offspring be leaving home? You are going to need some serious space! If not for the boxes, than certainly for the finished models.

If I count well there will be at least four more to come:

The Kent, Rodney, Ark Royal, and a Dido class destroyer ... after that you'll tackle the space ships, or restart on wood ... ?

That means that if yours do the same as two of mine then you only have eight or ten more years to pay for!  One Doctor with extra specialities, one attorney, and one who is still thinking about what he wants to do as a trade. Only two more to go, (Grandkids I'm raising).

The Russian forum is a mine of photographs for ships of the iron and steel era.

Copy the forum home page, open it with google and check 'translate this page', bookmark it, thereafter all future visits via that will be in English. There's stuff there I've never seen elsewhere.

This model is on another level.

Very nice detail indeed Greg.  Great t see you constantly looking to improve your models - this one for example already looked good; but this will add that extra flourish.

cheers

Pat
