I am trying to download pictures from my Android mobile. I click choose files and a box pops up for a second but nothing happens. Does anyone know if there is a setting I am not ticking on the phone. I have gone through all types of settings but cannot find anything that I need to check. If not the phone is there a setting that needs to allow pictures from a mobile within the site. Thanks if anyone can help.

Paul

Hard to say without know what phone you have or what Android system you are using.   I might suggest you simply email the photos to yourself from the phone and then open the email on your computer and download.

Paul,

I am using Android camera feature and having no problem with uploading my pictures.

If you like to provide your model of phone (i.e Samsung 7s Edge) I guess anyone of us should be able to help you.

Otherwise just send the pictures to your email address and from there save the pictures to your computer.
From there you shouldn't have any issues.

Thanks, the phone is the blackview A60 running latest version of android go.

I dont have a PC as my last one gave up after 10 years.

It will be a few months before I can replace it, hence trying to download from the mobile.

I Don't have a problem downloading to Facebook or whatsApp.

I read somewhere on androids you might have to go to settings - then apps - then gallery - then clear cache/clear data ....

Thanks, that has not worked.

It must be the phone. I will have to wait untill I can afford a new PC.

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
