Congratulations on a superb build. I particularly liked the quality of the paint finish. Perhaps when you’ve completed your bathroom conversion you might post some photos the boat in its natural watery element ie floating along side a squeaky duck!!😂

looking forward to the album.😊

And a well-deserved glass of wine, B.E.! I love the rigging detail that you have included. Sorry about the fish, though. Best wishes for the New Year.

You've set the standard of excellence for building the Fifi and the Zulu and your build log is as good as it gets. Both are simply beautiful models with wonderful attention to detail!

Congratulations and cheers, BE, and here's wishing you a safe and prosperous New Year. Hopefully, the world will return to some sense of normalcy in 2021 sooner rather than later.

All the best,

Thank you Guys for your supportive comments.👍

Postscript to the build

Those familiar with my logs know that I use my build photo’s to produce a hard copy photo book recording the model build.

I have now received my latest edition covering both Fifie and Zulu models.

Once again I used Vistaprint to produce the book, and a superb job they have made.

B.E.,

Producing a PhotoBook is a very nice way of finalising the whole build procedure. I have used VistaPrint (a few years ago for other items) and also found them very efficient.

I don't think my ship building efforts so far warrant a photobook 😉 ... cough...but I can think of some other ventures that myself and friends have undertaken that could benefit from a memorial photobook. Food for thought.

I imagine the layout of your Fifie/Zulu book takes quite a bit of careful thinking and planing. Maybe a build log of that?.... he says only half joking 🙂

Anyway, your book looks absolutely superb as, of course, do the models.  It's the kind of thing that would sell well at conventions and in clubs, when we get back to normal.

Thanks,

Richard

Wonderful book, BE. That idea has never occurred to me before but it's a great idea and your book is fantastic. What size is your book?
