As a graduation gift, my wife gave me digital copies of the plans for the Steam Frigate Minnesota. Now, after much prodding, I am commencing my plans to scratch build the ship. First, I need to complete my workshop. As a 'starter' a cross-section that includes planking, at least one gun, a mast etc will help you develop the necessary skills.
