realworkingsailor #1111 Posted May 22, 2014 Really great job, Augie! I wouldn't go fishing too much... who knows what the ravenous mob might do if you don't drop them a picture of progress now and again... lambsbk #1118 Posted May 22, 2014 I love it Augie. Because of the fine detail you put into her your build looks bigger than it actually is: I have to remind myself of the scale here. 1 augie reacted to this

Trussben #1125 Posted May 23, 2014 Very nicely done Augie, you have got the deck clamps perfect where the cabin partition line on the false deck is right under the deck clamp cutout. Now are you gonna spill the beans on what wood you are going to use for the Floor?? Ben 1 popeye the sailor reacted to this

patrickmil #1127 Posted May 25, 2014 Augie, I'm happy to see you back at it. The interior looks very nice so far. If you'd be so kind as to put off fishing and the great outdoors for a while longer and get more done, we'd all appreciate it. 1 augie reacted to this

popeye the sailor #1129 Posted May 27, 2014 come on Augie.............cannons aren't mind numbing.........they're a work of art! sure they are a 'mass production' aspect, but it's rather fun to add on the little baubles now, if you really want to drive yourself to new fits of madness........plank the deck! I'm with Ben on this........It will be very nice to see how the deck compliments the bulwarks, and make Ben smile at the same time
augie #1130 Posted May 27, 2014 Just a quick update. The inner bulwarks have been painted except in the Great Cabin where they were stained. I used 10 coats of diluted MS Bulwark Red somewhat modified to attain the red I was looking for (same as the gun ports). A coat of flat acrylic lacquer was applied as well: We'll now be turning our attention to the deck......but not before some (long delayed) domestic chores and a sortie to the hallowed fishing grounds are completed. I shall return with ....... ??????? 23 popeye the sailor, mtaylor, riverboat and 20 others reacted to this
