Congratulations on finishing this beautiful model.  I looked at your build log  on your webpage https://geneberger-models.com/uss-olympia-c-6/ and have added two pictures of your finished Olympia to show to the members.

The model of your Olympia is outstanding and the water is so lifelike. This is definitely an award winning model.  More images of your model can be seen in your album in the Gallery:

That model is absolutely incredible. What a great way to present the model on the water.

I absolutely LOVE it! One of your customers will be a very happy man.

Thank you so much for your comments. Customers??? I would ever consider giving away one of my "children!" I build for the pleasure of it and it resides in my home "gallery."

I stand corrected. I am glad that you would keep for yourself such marvels. Honestly, I have never been able to sell one of my models. I may give but it is always like ripping out a part of yourself.

Your model is a work of art, I've joined this community while building my first little fishing boat and found your beautiful ship as I looked around the gallery etc. It's like someone who sketches stick figures stumbling across the Sistine Chapel!

I'm going through your own website to really enjoy the build log, so can I ask how you made the sweeping brushes/brooms that the crew are cleaning the deck with please? Apologies if that sounds trivial considering the rest of your masterpiece
