Hi folks - new to this group. Built a couple of Billing Boats RC models in my youth but nothing for a long, long time. Now that I am retired, I thought I would try and pick up where I left off and see whether I still have the passion (and eyesight 😂) for this hobby. Have read through loads of comments on here about being realistic at the beginning for your model ship making journey, so hopefully I have chosen my first adventure wisely. I do like the style of sloops/ cutters, and I have been lucky enough to pick up what I think is an absolute bargain off ebay. Maybe not the easiest, certainly not the hardest, but still a very pretty vessel despite its dark history.  My new baby?  “Dos Amigos” Bajel Negrero from Golden Kits. Wish me luck 😀
