I bought this at a buy swap sell for AUD $100 a few years ago. I’ve been waiting on someone to make some 3D parts that don’t cost more than the kit. A local bloke at Leadfoot models does some lovely car stuff and recently did the wheels, brake drums and the footstep. There is a European mob that does a 3D fuel tank but out exchange rate makes it far more than I paid for the kit. It’s a beautiful car, I won’t show off the engine, others have done that to perfection and I’ll never get that good, so I’ll enjoy it for what I can.

Wow that looks like a detailed kit with a lot of parts.   I'll follow along to see how it goes.   I think the only airfix kits I have built were some tiny WWI biplanes that had about 15 parts each.

Fabulous !!! I have that kit and will be watching what you are doing with it. I'll never get to your level, but may be able to grab some ideas.

There are a few aftermarkets parts for that kit, one of them being the spoke wheels. Very pricy but really nice.

Nice, you already have some wheels, but I post a link for wire wheels anyway. I bought wheels and wir locks from them for my 1/12 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300.
