I was in Pittwater a few weekends ago & there is a boat in Careel Bay that looked very much like a Pearling Lugger, I would guess that the hull was 42 or so feet. Do you know of this boat? A card template of the deck curve was made first, then the plank cut to fit snugly against the inboard edges of the frames and then the plank marked and cut (cut and try; cut and try) to fit around the frames.
