Thank you J. The natural wood color for the Hull worked out better than I thought. Especially with the Cherry Stain on the brightwork.  It set her off Nicely .

Congrats Pete.  Your natural finish looks great, at first I was wondering what it would look like but now I like, I like.

Beautiful work, Pete. She's simply beautiful. What a great choice of a modeling subject, and finely executed too. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thank you Geoff, I am pleased with how this boat has turned out, My wife get's credit for the natural hull, she thought it to be a shame to paint over it , and she was right.  The whole build went very smooth, She has been one of the funnest build's that I have done .

Best Regards,

Pete

Here is a quik update : Today, I opened the Sail Loft , I started by making the sail patterns out of paper ( to scale ) checked it against the Mast and Boom , and the Patterns were spot on , next was to lay out the patterns on the Sail cloth. I went with a ultra light weight fabric that closely resembled what I was looking for. ( ultra light weight was the most important element for the Sails ) Next I cut the fabric over size ( by about an 1/8 th of an inch ) I then took the line wich will be my Halyards, and glued it with crazy glue to the line of the sail pattern. I then rolled the excess ( the 1/8 of an inch over size ) and glued it back on itself. ( creating a seam ) Here are the results

You should sew her initials in one of the sails to tell her how you feel.

Thank you David B. , After the Sails were made, I started fitting her out, by installing all the standing rigging and the Halyard cleats on the Mast. Have you ever had one of those builds, that just fall's together without a problem ? This has been one of those builds for me , everything worked out on the first try . That being said , It's looking good for the first round of Sea - Trials for thursday, followed by closing out this build log . Here are the results I have alot of pic's
