Gimme All Your Lovin - ZZ Top (Eliminator album) 1983

(Isn't it a bit odd that the only the drummer, Frank Beard, didn't have one?)

(Pontiachedmark check out the version of your song by Hall & Oats)

Gimme What You Got - Don Henley (The End Of Innocence album) 1989

This was on his third solo album since the former lead vocalist and drummer left the Eagles.

We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet - Blue Magoos (Psychedelic Lollipop album) 1966 (another of those one-hit wonder groups)

One day you're up and the next day you're down

You can't face the world with your head to the ground

The grass is always greener on the other side, they say

So don't worry boys, life will be sweeter some day

Easy Evil - John Kay (My Sportin' Life album) 1973

This was on the second solo album from the former front man for Steppenwolf.  I think it's his best solo song.

Well you are such an easy evil

                                       Such a sensuous sin

                                       Sometimes I don't know where I'm going

                                       'Till I've been taken in

                                       Such an easy evil

                                       Such a promise of fun

                                       Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing

                                       Till I'm done, you're a sneaky one

Here she comes now touching me, calling my name again

Here I go now, like a moth to a flame

I'm a sucker for you baby

Black Magic Woman - Santana (Abraxas album) 1970

Originally recorded as a single by Fleetwood Mac in 1968, but not nearly as popular as the Santana version.

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
