reklein Posted March 2, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 2, 2014 For duplicating shapes on the lathe,you can make a metal or card profile of the shape you wish to duplicate and then check against it while you cut. Modeler12 Posted March 2, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2014 This is not for a wood lathe, but I have made barrels on my mini lathe using a piece of thick saw blade as shown below. I have a wood lathe, not a metal lathe, and not sure that would work... on the other had, without trying, I am not sure it would not work. I have to see how I would rig it up to the tool bar...
