A couple of quick questions - Is there an issue with water potentially ingressing the hull due to it's low freeboard? Also, how do you think she'll perform in choppy waters? Would the bow rise and fall out of the water as she hits the waves, do you think? No problem, either way. I'm just curious because I've really got no idea how the real ships performed in rough seas. Patrick, water ingress is not a problem as far as free board goes, I do get very little water inboard unless I flail the oars too much. History is full of sccoumts of entire fleets of galleys being sunk by unexpected Mediterranean storms. Yet galleys dominated the Mefiterranean for maybe 2000 years.
