Looking at Model Shipways POB kits I see that the Niagara is an intermediate level build and the Syren is advanced level. Is the Syren a more difficult build than the Niagara? Mike

This terminology is vague.  A Revell plastic model boat is a "Beginners"  any wooden plank on bulkhead kit with adequate parts and plans is "Intermediate".  A pile of raw wood, brass, wire, and thread, with actual ships plans, is "Advanced".
