Looking fantastic, Dirk, a real jewel! I assume the showcase is made of plexiglass? How do you cut these large parts so precisely?

The "promised" black paint for the boom's end 😉

I started the standing rigging and it is (as usual) a story of 2 steps ahead and one back (better known as failed planing ahead :-))

Doing the eyes for the shrouds I had to do them wider because I allready finished the mast "too much" and it wouldn't have fitted over otherwise.

The serving is done with 0.1mm morope rope.

It took me two nights to accept that I don't like that (to be lazy)... so ... deconstruction ... haha.

Superb work, with the usual "de-construction". Perfection !!

I love all the spars laid out near the ship.

Your work is far and above anything I've ever seen. I can't imagine how you do it. I feel like a real  klutz with my technique. You are a worthy goal for every model ship builder.

Thanks for your comments and all the likes! Very much appreciated 🙂

I did two inboard clamps and a small deconstruction as I decided the tackle is a bit oversized.

Wonderful work. Very inspiring. Are you using a serving machine and what type of thread are you using to serve your rope ? The rope is also beautiful. Is it your own rope or from Syren Company ?

Thanks in advance for your answer and still a big thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
