Hi Richard,

 

Thanks, the red wood is Bloodwood, the squares next to the red is Marblewood (marmaroxylon racemosum) from Woodcraft, the brown is cherry and the yellow is yellow heart. I use turning squares of exotic wood to make small parts it is a lot less expensive than buying boards.

Hi Brian,

 

Your parquetry flooring looks great. I tried to stay a little closer to the drawing only changing the pattern a small amount. I noticed you didn’t paint the frieze using a solid color instead. I haven’t decided what to do there yet.

Thanks Grant,

 

I have had both books on my book shelf for a while and decided to build the Fubbs first since she is smaller and a little less complicated. It would be great to see another Fubbs build on the site.
