Thank you kind sir, I'm honoured.

You have her in a modeller's paradise, Wayne. Nice studio, for that can't be called a man cave! Your planking is looking good!

  • 1 year later...

Greetings!  Well, after a year of fretting over the planking, I guess it is time to bring the ECB back to the table, grit my teeth, and plunge into finishing the hull.

Here, then, are some images of the current status.  Wish me luck!

I love the shots with the landscape in the background.  It is easy to imagine the ECB full sized and sitting waterside.  This is coming along so well!

Hi Wayne,

Nice to see you back at it mate, E.C.B has been sidelined for far too long.

I'm confident that your game plan for the planking will work out just fine.

  • 2 years later...

Wow - has it really been 2 years?

I finally decided that the only way I could move on was by not doing any more planking.  Since she is in the yard being repaired for the display I stopped where I thought it looked good and started the painting.  I plan to weather it some and then continue construction.

Thank you all for the kind replies!

I have done some work at giving her a more "weathered" look.  Still more to do.

Doing the sanding and painting in the garage (heated).  Sorry about the poor lighting.
