Dimitris, the masts look great. I feel for you in having to re-build them. This sort of thing maybe a little bit of a set back it in turn, however,  gives you the satisfaction of knowing it is done right and puts that smile back on your face.

I notice your little tray of goodies on the bench is still quite full of fittings so I am guessing that this fantastic journey has a long way to go yet. This makes me happy as I am really enjoying this adventure.

Good work Dimitris,

Looks like you`ve been quite busy these days...

now comes the time where you probably determine what sequences must be done now and which later on for access when the masting and rigging carries on.

Sorry that the pics are a bit "foggy", perhaps you can submit some more brighter ones with your next Posts, would love to see some Close ups of the ship...in it`s current state

Thank you Nils for your nice words and also for the likes. I' m thinking of proceeding with the masting and rigging so as to ensure  that i will have more space for my big clumsy hands!! :) :)

So after 1 year i managed to get back my olympus from my young brother, and finally manage to take some decent photos as  requested... :D

Kind Regards

G'day Dimitris

I'm a bit confused! Which is the model and the real ship of the olympus? I assume the last photo is your model, but it's so bloody hard to tell them apart!  If you keep up your normal standard, I for one, will be very envious of your talents!

Hey Dimitris, I just went through you whole log and I am very impressed with your wonderful work and how much you have done in this time period, but there is one question I'd like to ask..........whatever happened to the lifeboats? ;)  :)

Simply beautiful work Dimitris....I admire your dedication to scale and accuracy  :)

I often find myself having a hard time deciding when to re-work and when to say it's good enough....and only an expert will find the error (our minds can drive us mad at times)  :D

Hey whatever happened to the lifeboats? ;)  :)

If my memory serves me right Dimitris, I think it took you a complete summer just do do one lifeboat, not twelve.

Hello shipmates , all pin racks and eyelets are in place also to the bow deck. Τhe time has come for me to begin  preparing the masts before glued in place! (pulleys and bases from the yards).. I have to buy a new table to the admiral for the living room... :) :)

Cheers
