Some pictures of my sailing model of a Danish hering-wessel. The original var built at the start of the 20´th century on the island of Funen, and sailed in the Great Belt. The model has no motor - like the original. It´s only driven by the wind, which makes sailing it a challenge some times. :-) Scratch-build from drawings in the book "Danske baadtyper" by Christian Nielsen. The book is a "must-have" for those who want to scrath-built danish sailing wessels of the late 19. early 20. century.
