    Many thanks for the link, lots of wonderful modeling skills in that build ,all i need now is some barrel measurements ,are there any charts giveing sizes in feet & inches or do i have to go to the local brewery with a tape measure. (Pete)

    I have just placed my order for a Duesk1:72 scale model kit NINA , while i am waiting for it to arrive my thoughts turned to barrel making so i did a quick forum search and nothing came up,My question is how do you guys go about making ships barrels, from one piece (turned on the lathe ) or by coopering. (Pete)

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
