Thank you Popeye and everyone else that posted a 'like' Yes I enjoyed the build despite the many problems, it took about 18 Months. A lot of changes were made to the kit: -
Rivets added to the Hull and Super Structure.
Wheel House scratch built and internals fitted.
Trawl Winch built and real wire rope fitted from scratch as were the Trawl Boards
Steering Gear was enhanced
Deck was planked
Scratch built new funnel
Navigation lights added
New propeller
Structure around the propeller added
Turnbuckles, shackles, thimbles added
Etc. Etc.
The model was built in memory of my late Father who was a Trawl Skipper.

The original kit is the 1/48 Caldercraft 'Milford Star it was heavily modified as follows: -
Rivets added to the Hull and Super Structure.
Wheel House scratch built and internals fitted.
Trawl Winch built and real wire rope fitted from scratch as were the Trawl Boards

Deck was planked
Scratch built new funnel
Navigation lights added
New propeller

Vinyl stencils added
