do you have a build log for this?
No, I did not write one for that project. I took some pictures during it but never posted them.

Nice one Kedes1. I enjoyed my build of this interesting project. You have made a fine model.

Thank you very much. That was a short project between two ships and i was able to try different things. I really liked it. Now back to my Mantua "Le Superbe".

Hi Janet
Thank you for your comment. I tried my best and had a lot of fun learning the trade and getting to the finish model. One thing that i should say is that i didnt want to build an historical model so when i had some problems i just find new ways to do it that please me and yes i ran into some.
First, i had some bent pieces but those were easy to fix. I didnt have any other real problem untill i got to the rigging. There i found two major problems: the plans werent specific enough when it came to which line were connected to the blocks i had to put on the deck and the kit was missing single blocks. I had to decide which line i should connect to the deck and that took me a little while to figure out and i had to use double blocks instead of single one a lot of time during the rigging (but at least i had enough double blocks to do it).
Since it was my first completed build i suppose the learning process had a part to play in the time it took me to overcome those little difficulties. My final thought on the kit itself is that it was a great one. The explanations and the plans were really good except for the rigging part i spoke of. The quality of the material (compare to others kits i now got) was great. I would do it again.
Have a nice day

Hi, the kit is about 25 cm by 25 cm. I had a 28 pages manual and a plan. If you give me somes days, I could scan and photograph the 2 items for you. Unfortunately the plan is not at scale but give a lot of dimensions. Since it was a kit, some pieces were precut and the only way to scratch build it, if you want, would be some pictures of the leftover wood sheet with a ruler. I can also do that. Hope I was helpfull. Have a nice day.
