    G'day all, Have posted here ages ago, however all appears to be gone now. OK, first up I must fess up to not building this one 🙄 In my defence I'd say due to the fact I still haven't finished by little scratch built ship, I had to have a display piece to soothe the anxieties 😀 So she stands about 1.5m high overall....but needs a really good clean and rigging replaced here and there. I wondering the best way to clean the sails? Not sure of the exact material, though it feels a little stiff and has a slight sheen. Just bung them in the washing machine or soak...thinking if I use bleach they come out too white? Hope to also ask advice regarding correct rigging etc as it doesn't look quite right to me.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
