    I was given a just started kit for the Norske Love 20 years ago by a friend in South Africa. Now I am retired I have the time to tackle this. As I am sure you have found before me the plans, instructions and timber details are somewhat lacking or confusing. A specific area I am struggling with is the stern window layout. The supplied wood detail is curved (including the plastic window sections) but all the pictures and diagrams I can find show them as straight. Any guidance from your experience would be very welcome. Dave

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
