    I am building a scratch model of the USS Essex. I have come to the point where I want to attache the boarding nets to the boarding net brackets but I cannot figure out how the bottow rope is attached. Any ideas?

    Any suggestions on making/buying boarding nets? I am building a scratch built USS ESSEX and have come to where I need the nets. I have tried making my own but the fabric glue I used left too much residue.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
