    My understanding is that one of the reasons hammocks were stowed on the ship's railings was to "air them out". Perhaps they were only covered by a tarp in wet weather but otherwise left uncovered tied in bundles? That would make sense...or would it?

    Thanks. I'll look up Canoe21's build. I did do a search for Hammocks, but haven't found what I needed so far.

    Currently working on Syren. Love that the kit contains hammock netting and especially the frames. But, I also want to add rolled hammocks to place inside the hammock netting. I would like advice from anyone who has successfully done this on a model and can share tips on materials and methods. Thanks,
