Brandenburg State Yacht 1679 by PvG Aussie - Scale 1/200 - Miniature - FINISHED
The Brandenburg State Yacht was also simply known as a Dutch Yacht. When the yacht came into existence in Holland the term applied to the vessel Jaght Schip. It denoted swiftness and probably, chasing or hunting; for the ancient yacht of Holland was put to a variety of uses.
The build record can be found here .
It was both a challenge and thoroughly enjoyable to build.

MS Sibajak - PvG Aussie (1:1150) BOTTLE - FINISHED
The Sibajak (1928-1959) made many journeys from Holland to the USA and Australia. In her 31 years of service the Sibajak transported around a quarter of a million passengers taking them half way around the world. As migrants to Australia we travelled for six weeks, via the Panama Canal and Tahiti, to arrive in Sydney on the 3rd of August 1959. This was the ships final voyage before it was scraped in Hong Kong.

Spanish Galleon 1607 by PvG Aussie - Imai Kagaku - 1/100 - PLASTIC - FINISHED
A 1979 kit of a 1607 Spanish Galleon .
Flagship of the Golden Fleet that bore fabled treasures of the New World.
Length 495mm,
Width 223mm,
Height 439mm,
Scale 1:100
A most enjoyable build even though the scale makes the ship a little 'tight' to work on at times.
Build posts can be found here .
Cheers,
Pvg Aussie

HMS Oxford 1647
The first of about 13 ships I have made in bottles. Quite a challenge and each one takes about 50 hours. They are a great break between larger models. The best part is emptying the bottles. This one in a Chivas Regal.
